Top Coverings
StarSuede
StarSuede is comprised of two layers, a black brushed felt like material laminated to a quick recovery memory foam base layer. This material is treated with anti-fungicide and is the material of choice for dress products.
ETC - Available in Black and Blue
ETC is a quality top covering exhibiting a thin top layer of etc which provides anti friction to reduce shearing forces and moisture wicking meshwork for in shoe conditions, combined with an anti-fungicide memory foam treated with a fresh scent. This top cover is the default choice for athletic devices and footwear ( blue ) and for casual Orthotics and footwear when fit allows ( black ).
Microcell
Microcell is a closed cell, soft shore, EVA product that is lightweight. This top covering is ideal for deep heel cups due to its uniform layer. Microcell is easy to maintain and is hand washable; available in Black, Pink swirl, and Green swirl colors.
Diabetic Top covering
This top covering combination of soft plastizote layered with medical grade Poron, is approved for use in all Therapeutic Shoe Bill products in the United covered by Medicare. The combination of a soft layer with an open cell memory foam provides cushioning and padding to sensitive feet.
Vinyl and Poron
Top quality black vinyl with a base layer of poron are laminated together resulting in a durable, padded top covering. This combination is moisture repellant, and easy to maintain. Available in 1/16 and 1/8 thickness. An ideal selection for rugged wearing individuals.
Leather Covering
This top cover is available at a surcharge of $15.00. The performated bovine leather is adhered to 1/8 poron underlining memory foam.
Suede Covering
Suede is used for sandal products and is ordered with color match in mind to maintain the appearance of the stock covering from the particular sandal product. The materials allow moisture wicking, durability and are synthetic man made products which are hypo-allergenic.
All top coverings are warranteed for 6 months normal wear.
